I went to Capitec Bank on Monday because 4 debit orders had gone off my account to one company to the value of R3200. I have been having this problem for over a year. i was informed that I had been notified by SMS that debit orders legal or not legal could no longer be reversed without a letter from the company that passed the debit order. I am now going to close my account and I have moved to another bank because I have no option as I am not protected at all and it seems my account is open to all and sundry to take off money as and when they please. MY MONEY IS NOT SAFE. Another thieving corrupt bunch of people to what little bit of money I get after paying this government all my tax.
