My account was made dormant even though it isn't. Because of that I couldn't see my account online. I received an sms to say that I was overdrawn by R959. I called them to say that I couldn't pay because I couldn't see the amount. I said I would pay when they would let me see the account online. They insisted I give a date. I said I would try and make payment that day (Monday) even though I was quite busy. I also asked them to note that I would like to pay when their mistake was corrected and I could see my account. She refused. I then had a medical emergency. Today (Thursday) I received a snippy call from Zandile in credit rehabilitation asking why I hadn't paid. I said I had had a medical emergency and was driving into the hospital at that moment. Her response? So when will you be paying? Jeez. Not even a - sorry, I hope you feel better, I'll call tomorrow. Then she has the audacity to phone me again this afternoon. I had already made the payment from the dr's waiting rooms but she was doubtful as it hadn't reflected. Do these people not have am empathy gene? I am closing my account after 31 years.
