Capitec refuses to refund debit orders

Last month I went to capitec bank in cape Gate and stopped debit orders I did not want to go off, after I could not close my account and open a new one. So according to the teller they stopped the debit order and I signed the documents. This month however the bank let those debit orders go through witch I stopped and now tells me according to their new policy they can't reverse it and give my money back. This is a lot of money witch I need badly. Is it not strange that they are the only bank that refuses to give back your own money??? I will be closing my account!! Who are they to take your money without permission and then refuse to pay it back? Not even if a debit order went off twice will they refuynd you. They said that I should phone the company that got payment and they should refund me. Worst bank ever!!
