Unable/refuse to update postal address

Approached both Cresta and Call centre and both were unable to confirm that my statements could be sent to me at a UK address.
Explained that I would be travelling overseas for an undefined period and WILL NOT have internet access to receive e-statements so I requested that bank statements be sent to a UK postal address that I will be returning to intermittently. Both parties insisted that I register for e-statements - how will I get the statements when I have NO access to them. Both parties clearly do not have the understanding or authority necessary to make a simple decision based on my request and neither has Thibi at the call centre (more than 24 hours later) bothered to provide any feedback.
DO I CLOSE MY 3 ACCOUNTS AT NEDBANK IMMEDIATELY AFTER BEING A CUSTOMER FOR OVER 25 YEARS BECAUSE THEY ARE UNABLE TO RESPOND TO A SIMPLE REQUEST FOR POSTAL SERVICE - THIS REQUEST IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!
