I phoned Standard Bank this morning with the simple request that they do not send me sms's every month telling me I need to pay my account when the end of the month has not even arrived and that they refrain from sending sms's telling me that my account is overdue when that is not the case. I am a responsible adult person, with an excellent credit record and never fail to fulfill my commitments. The person concerned was obnoxious and rude. Interupting me when I was speaking and raising her voice to the extreme, when I explained that I was not able to conform to her request and I suggested she assist me. She flatly refused to make a phone call to me at Standard Bank's expense, when I had already been on my phone for an extended period of time. THEIR SERVICE AS WELL AS THEIR ATTITUDE STINKS!
