I called Nedbank 0860555111 customer care on 26th February (in the afternoon) to query why my bank charges are being deducted on the 25th of the month, I initially spoke to some call centre person who didn't understand what I was asking so I asked to speak to the manager and Recks Dumakude from the Durban branch, who CLAIMED to be "Manager of the contact centre" responded. Recks couldn't assist me either when I asked if nedbank can please deduct my bank charges after I get paid on the last day of the month, Recks said bank charges are automatically deducted at any given time and that it was impossible to manipulate the date for the deduction, he was going to get back to me on the 27th February but surprisingly he didn't after he promised he would. I even told him to give me his contact details because banks don't ever get back to you when you have a query, and like an, he gave it to me, that's why I can name him. Guess I should switch to FNB?
