FNB- WON'T RESPOND TO QUERY BUT QUICK TO HAND OVER

I was Under Debt review, and FNB was one of my creditors. I wanted to settle the account in full, and was told that FNB will not negotiate compromised settlements with clients while they are under debt review. I therefore REMOVED myself from Debt review about 2/3 weeks ago. I then immediately contacted FNB toi arrange a compromised settlement. I was put through to legal who told me that only once they receive the letter from my debt councillor removing nme from debt review, can they assist with a compromised settlement. The letter was sent, and within 48 Hours I contacted them again. NO ONE COULD HELP ME!!! Then, much to my surprise- a few days ago I received an email from a COMPANY OF ATTORNEYS to say that FNB HAVE HANDED MY ACCOUNT OVER. I Have just spent a fortune in legal fees clearing my credit record, only to find out that this handover will adversely affect my credit report!!! HOW IS IT THAT A BANK CAN NOT ASSIST IT'S CLIENTS DIRECTLY, WHEN I AM LOOKING TO PAY THEM, BUT ARE SO QUICK TO HAND OVER!!! I am shocked and disgusted that none of my calls were returned by FNB, no one WOULD ASSIST, but now I HAVE TO PAY AN EXTRA R5000 TO THEIR ATTORNEYS! IT IS DISGUSTING!
