Handover account

My name is Stefan, I got a loan from capitec in East rand mall in December 2011 the reason was that I did not do good financially and yes I did not pay my account for a few moths - after this capitec handed me over to vertex solutions (capitec's attorneys) for R5599.03 which was fine at the stage they confronted me regarding this. I knew I need to pay this account, I agreed on R 500 a month starting September 2012. I never skipped a payment since then I've paid off over R2000 the account's balance is at the moment R5988.22 after I paid R2000 off??? I will never be able to pay off this account if it goes on like this. I requested for the account to be taken from the attorneys and they said they cant help me. This is rediculous
