Last year September I traded in my old Nissan hardbody for a Chevrolet utility bakkie at GM Motors Hatfield. I submitted the required documentation (payslip, bank statement, address, id copies) for finance application. Standard Bank approved needless to say I signed a contract late at night, in a hurry and in a very awkward pace as the SB rep couldn't wait to cash in on the commission. I however specifically told him to debit my account on the 15th of every month, with also the impression that he has all my documentation from the dealer. I must say these people just do their job just to get commission and not pay attention to the needs of the customer. This was not to be as they continuously debited my account on the 1st of every month, leaving me with a bad bank record even when I continuously instructed them to debit on the 15th, then they ask me for my payslip. On the 26th Feb they repossessed the car as I am apparently on R 5 400 arrears, of course this is all my fault & have breached the contract. I have a months time frame to pay this amount or I will lose the car in fact I would have lost both cars. I will escalate this matter to Financial Ombudsman & NCR for me to be treated fairly & not
