I loaded airtime onto my phone (cell c) via Standard Bank while on holiday on 25 Dec 2012, but received NOTHING. I first lodged the complaint with Cell c (3 times), and then with Miempie van der merwe at the Boksburg branch (Gijima ref no:51369445) on 8 Jan 2013 with a promised response of 9 working days. NO response as yet from Standard Bank, after sending 2 more emails to query the NO RESPONSE. This was the latest response from cell c 'Kindly be advised that we are unable to trace your recharge, Standard had a general problem regarding atm/internet recharge on the 25/12/2012.
May you kindly visit the nearest standard bank branch for further assistance.

What is also very strange, is that I always receive an email for any activity on my account. On 25 Dec I did not.
Now I need some answers, and not another ref number.
As can be seen from the complaints reported on hellopeter, Cell c and Standard Bank are always within the first 5. WHY? Is it so difficult to keep your promises and give an acceptable service.
I really wish for a positive outcome.
