Vehicle not fixed after 7 weeks

Business & Finance

After having an accident on 10 January, it took Telesure 2 weeks to approve the claim and appoint a panel beater (not one of my choice). Mfundo was appointed as repair consultant for this claim. I contacted the panel beaters and was advised that parts will only be available in 28 days. I was not happy with the long timing and contacted Mfundo and explained that I was not happy with the long delay, and also not with the insistence of paying half the excess upfront. I requested he contact the parts agent and give me feedback. I thereafter contacted the parts supplier and was advised delivery of the parts is 2 to 3 working days. I have since been struggling to get the true status of my repair. Mfundo finally phoned me back on 18 February, and could not give me a status update and would not listen and try to understand my frustrations. I have since booked the car in for repairs on 25 February, and hopefully it will be finished before 2 months lapse... I have not had any further feedback from Mfundo. Also I had two annual increases of 17% on this policy, way out of line with inflation.
