I registered a claim on 30/10/13 for a accident on a Renault. It was decided that the car will be fixed even though they knew parts might be a problem and I told them to rather right the car off as they said the quote is a bit high and the parts is an issue. So they reduced the panel beaters price and told him to go ahead. Now they knew that parts will be a issue and did not chose to send the car to a Renault panel beater that does have stock. The panel beater said the car would be finished within 10 days and this was on 04/11/13. 12 days later I phoned the insurance to find out what was happening and they could not answer me. I requested the panel beaters details and phoned them. When I phoned them they told me it will take another 10 days. I phoned the insurance to update them and told them this is not acceptable. They said that they will look into it. I then today decided to go to the panel beaters where they told me it will take another 14days they are struggling to get parts. I phoned the insurance and they basically just pull up their shoulders and say sorry! It is not their problem that the work is taking so long and that I do not have car rental on my policy. POOR SERVICE!!
