Outsurance
Lost my outsurance bonus for no good reason

I own a house with my brother and we had a burst geyser last week. I currently have insurance for my car, and house contents and building with outsurance. When processing the house claim I found out that I lose my bonus for my car (even though they are payed separately and I haven't had a car accident for 14 years). This policy was not told to me when I added the house insurance to my car policy in the beginning. If it was, I would have put the house insurance in my brothers name. Now I start a three year cycle for my car again which could have been avoided if the correct information was told to me upfront.
