Bank does not want to credit my account

I went to an ATM on the 14 february 2013 and wanted to draw money, the slot of the ATM did not open and obviously the money did not come out but my account was debited and the money went out of my account, the amount was for R600. I immediately called the bank line and they told me to go to the FNB branch which I did the very next morning. The lady that assisted me forwarded on the relevant information that she herself wrote and said the money would be reversed and put back in my account in 2 working days. 5 working days have passed and they still have not credited my account. I again phoned the branch and was put through to collections and they said I have to go to the branch again and fill in a form, why did they not let me fill in the form the very same day I went to the branch. I then laid a complaint with FNB and then they tell me they have to investigate and it will take 8 weeks and that they might not even reverse it and put the money back. I am extremely angry and disappointed with the level of service and no care attitude the bank has. It is my money and I want it to be put back into my account as soon as possible. How can it take up to 8 weeks, that is not on.
