I logged 2 hospital claims with SANTAM. The 1st took 3 weeks before I heard that the age limit was 25 and they were not going to pay my sons claim. The second is a week old today. I need to supply claim doc and a hospital acct which I did a week ago. From there it is an administrative task -validate and authorise payment. How long can this take - previously payment took 3 days. I assumed 4 days to be sufficient and have since been querying this and they make effort to respond to my broke or return my brokers calls. My husband has been ill for more than a year and I use the payments to fund co-payments - one due again tomorrow. There is NO service - they don't return calls, don't do their jobs and obviously have no empathy. Shocking!
