I bought a celphone from MTN. I had it insured with 24hr mobility. I was told that a consultant from the company will call me to further explain the terms and conditions of the contract but i never received such phone call. The phone gave problems and it was said it was liquid damaged. I submitted a claim form but i was told that the phone was not insured with them. Infact the only contract that's on their record is for the other phone which is not working still. I was adviced to submit 2 claim forms. I was called by Amukelani to say they are busy processing my claims. After 2 weeks i called to enquire about the claims and i was told they were declined due to non payment. The debit order went through from my account but it was more than what i signed for on the contract. So i thought it was a as i dont have a debit order of such amount. I then reversed it. I was never contacted about the extra amount that i should pay or how much will that be so that i can be well informed. There is no way i could have intentionally reversed the premium beacuse i knew that my claims depended on it. And i feel that i should've been called to inform me about the returned debit order.
