Requested Quote - Got harrassed

I requested a quote to get an idea what household insurance would cost me, having been out of the country for 10 years.
A gentleman called me Saturday, I gave him all the details required, requested him to email the quote to me to have a look, but made it clear to him that I will contact Outsurance when I'm ready to go ahead with it.
I've not even moved into my new flat, so still want to see what I could afford before I committed myself.
However
Since Monday to today (Thursday) have been called by at least 8 different people to find out whether I want to take up the insurance, and every time I tell them to make a note on the system that I will contact them when I commit to them.
It seems no one puts notes on clients files and if this is the way they try to get business, I'd rather not deal with them, because I'm sure if I do need them, then no one will call you back because everyone is on the phone dialing and harrassing potential new clients.
Its annoying being called 5 times in one day, giving the advisors the same message over and over again, and feeling like no one understands English..
