FNB Dodgy for days

I just received an SMS from Ver-tex, telling me that I'm being handed over because I haven't been paying my account with FNB. Mind you, I had paid a settlement amount and FNB sent me a PAID UP Letter a week later, confirming that I don't owe them anymore. This has been going on for some time now because the a month later, they sent me an email telling me that they are handing me over. I enquired with the guys from Ver-tex and they asked that I send them proof of payment. I did just that, but again they have been stalking me with these SMS's. I'm worried that I'm going to be incorrectly listed because of FNB's incompetency. I need someone to give me feedback and ensure that this is resolved otherwise I am seeking legal action
