I put in a windscreen claim and my insurance company informed Windscreen Direct and they made contact with me and notified me that I have to pay my excess amount before they can schedule and appointment or order my windscreen. I paid the excess amount immediately on Monday the 4th of Feb. On Wednesday they made contact with me to schedule an appointment and the appointment was made for Friday the 8th of February at 13h00. I informed them that due to my work I travel all over the country to see clients. I have booked the whole Friday afternoon out as they informed me that I am not allowed to drive with the vehicle for 2 hours. At 13h30 nobody arrived yet and I made contact with them, they phoned me back and notified me that there was a delay in their schedule. Nobody arrived to fit my windscreen. At 16h30 on Friday afternoon they made contact with me and ask to reschedule. I informed them that it is not acceptable as I am fully booked for the following week and I need my windscreen replaced. They promised to drive out to where I live and I even gave them the gps co-ordinates. I sat alone at home all Saturday waiting for them. Nobody arrived or made contact with me!
