Refusal of insurance TOTALLY UNFAIR!!

I spoke to Linden about insurance, who without prior warning kept me on the line for over an hour asking detailed questions and then still could not give me a quotation for the insurance i requested due to the fact that I have had claims and to even quote they needed a 5 year history of my claims. In the last year we as a family have been through total with regards to incidents. We have had a car written off due to a negligent driver, our house burgled numerous times, our car burgled etc. - IN OTHER WORDS WE WERE VICTIMS OF CRIME AND NOT BY CHOICE! Linden promised me an immediate e-mail confirming what he requested after refusal to quote, which i did not receive, i asked him if it was worth me getting the history as it takes time and i did nit want to get it and then be turned down because of the claims. I was told not to worry and it would be worth it. He promised to call me monday-NO CALL. I then got the information and called the call centre and sent the details to him. Within less than 5 minutes i was declined! I requested underwriting manager etc to call me but NO CALLS! Just that we were turned down due to claims history! Now we are victims of crimes and unfair refusal!
