Last week, my husband discovered that our credit card was inactive, even after he had paid a DOUBLE installment on the 27th Jan. We queried it with Discovery who said they didn't receive the payment! My husband sent through the proof of payment as they requested. Still nothing. Then, even after seeing that the payment was made well before the end of the month, Discovery sent notification that we must pay a R240 late payment penalty. What a cheek!! On Tuesday, the 5th Feb, my husband received a call from Discovery saying they had found the money, and that we didn't have to pay a late fee. Then this morning, he received TWO sms's stating he now has to pay a late fee!! And guess what, OUR CREDIT CARD IS STILL INACTIVE after 12 DAYS and your have OUR MONEY!!! If the money was found, why can we STILL not use our card? And we are sure as NOT paying any late fee for something that was clearly an error on Discovery's side!! Someone had better sort this out TODAY, activate our credit card TODAY, and take off the late fees TODAY, or we are taking our business, elsewhere!! We have been loyal members for many years now and deserve better treatment than this!! Sincerley, Not Impressed
