I had a case where my geyser burst during May 2013 and I wanted to get a claim number to replace the geyser, but their Call centre staff informed me I was not insured for structural damages. And according to their records it's a vacant property. I told them I occupied the property for 5 years already. In October 2013 I received the Insurance document, and according to this document I was covered from 23 October 2013. I went so far to put in a complaint at the Ombudsman. (I wanted to claim back the money I spent on replacing the broken geyser). The case was settled the end of last month and the judgement was in my favour, but since then I'm struggling to get my money back. They requested a invoice after work was done. But the invoice I got from the plumber who replaced my geyser is not valid, because there's no stamp on. After I told the lady that the plumber's licence number is on the invoice. I'm really disgusted with their poor service. I'm planning to move my bond to another bank. I really had enough.
