RE temporary cessation of premiums (unemployment)
With the former application (August 2013) the application was approved
I didn't receive written confirmation I had to follow up telephonically
Despite the approval the full premium was deducted (August 2013) again I had to make phone calls to correct this
It was confirmed that the full premium was deducted (obviously apparent on the system) and I was requested to send a letter confirming that I will not reverse the debit order, whereafter PPS will refund me
I sent the letter but then received a request for a bank statement as proof All the trouble I had to go through to get a refund on a premium wrongly deducted by PPS
January 2014 the same thing happened. I received no confirmation&again had to follow up telephonically. It was confirmed that the application was received but not actioned
I threatened with a complaint&was promised action&a refund by a manager- so accepted
I then received the following response "..application declined... find attached cancellation form.."
Funny-on 3 Jan 2013 I requested a downgrade for a more permanent sollution-no response!
Full premium deducted due to incompetent advisor and now I feel I'm being chased away!
