ABSA home insurace call centre is disfunctional

I have repeatedly tried to follow up on an ABSA home insurance claim for a leaking roof placed on 22 December 2013. But when I get through to the call centre on 0860302011 one of two things happen. Either the system goes engaged after waiting in the phone queue for up to 30 minutes or I get through to call center personnel - who tells me to hold on while they check the status of my claim - and then the phone line also goes engaged.

The contractor who was contacted by Absa to make an assessment, sent in a report 2 weeks ago but he told me Absa has not come back to him.

I now have no way of getting through to Absa to find out why they aren't moving on this because their call centre system is dysfunctional.

Please sort this out because the damage is getting worse with all the Pretoria rain damaging the ceiling boards.
