In December 2012 we had activity on our business bank account and froze the account on the advice of Nedbank. This meant that no money come come in or out of the account.

On Monday 1st January 2013 we received a letter saying our account was overdrawn and we would be listed with the credit bureau. How is our account overdrawn when we were told money could not go in or out?

We called the woman who sent the letter to be told she wasn't in. We called back the next day and were given two different numbers in their Legal Department neither of which picked up. The next day we finally had our call answered by the Legal Dept only to be told the contact name we had been given had left the company! We were then given another number in their Deceased Department (deceased why?) and guess what... the phone rang out again...

We are trying to sort out this issue after quite a threatening letter but Nedbank do not help AT ALL.

We have moved our business and personal accounts over to FNB but would still like to sort out the above problem.
