I have recently learnt that FNB has listed multiple defaults on my credit profile without informing thereof. As per the National Credit Act, a service provider is required to inform their client, in writing, of the pending defaut listing within 20 days. As FNB did not do so, they have acted unlawfully. The defaults need to be removed immediately and apology letter provided or the matter will be taken further with the ombudsman.
