Incorrect way of listing on credit bureau

I had a loan with African bank and failed to pay as per contract. I got listed on the credit bureau and the loan written off (I saw this on my credit reports). But this default was listed incorrectly as it was just written under the payment history not under the defaults which is unusual. I observed this but did not want to take it up even though i know my rights and i never received any form of writting informing me that I was going to be listed. My problem is that when I checked my credit report the default is gone but the payment history still appears. I will take this up with the ambudsman should there be a need. The 2 year default time is up and I can not be still listed. Please attend to this matte
