Visa Cards rejected by Nedbank POS machines

For the past week or so, despite having a large amount of money available in my credit card, the point of sale machines keep declining it. This happens regularly at Edgars, whose sales staff scream 'your card is declined' at top of voices. Toy zone declined today, The Sweatshop last week. Has Nedbank decided to reject VISA out of hand?
