On the 20th January, I wrote a complaint about the NON-SERVICE given to us, in regard to the damages to our house. Absa responded by email on the 22nd January, by saying they will investigate the matter and get back to Me, with their findings. They did not. They send people to the house to assess the damages, their contractor gave them his estimates and they DECLINED his estimates, this I got from the contractor. When my contractor gave them his estimates, they also declined his, so what is the matter ABSA. ABSA is not coming back to tell me. ITS now More than TWO MONTHS since the storm, my kids, must sleep in the rain, open windows. If this was a ABSA building, it was going to be fixed within days. Because of the value they place on their properties. It goes to show what they think of my property. I repeat, I'm faced with the possibility of losing a buyer. I will have to involve lawyers in this regard. The most stressfull thing is this conversations over the phone. There is no compassion on ABSA's side. Because of this run around we are being subjected to, one guy in Cape town, went home and came back with a 12 Bore rifle and held the bank staff hostage. WHAT NoW?
