POOR SERVICE/FALSE PROMISES

Errol Scafturis is a Tax practitioner whose expertise I first enlisted for the 2011/12 financial year to do my taxes, He did an excellent job, was quick and efficient. I cannot however, say the same about 2012/13.I sent my documents to him as early as June last year. Loads of emails went unreplied and phone calls were not returned. The few times I would get through to him, he would promise to sort it out in a couple of days. I would phone him back in time to be given a new deadline. Eventually, he called me in Oct/Nov saying that he was looking at my documents and there was something missing. Having had them for 4 going on 5 months, this was the first time he was looking at them!

Nonetheless, I forwarded them to him. I got an email showing me what SARS would pay me provisionally. I waited and waited but never got paid. Before the December holidays, I called Errol again and he explained that SARS needed some extra documents which I sent through. I spoke to him last week again, and these documents have still not been uploaded to SARS.I am still waiting for my taxes to be finalized 7 months on. He does not answer my calls, nor respond to my emails.

Utter unprofessionalism!
