Hi,
I have had numerous issues with SARS. I self-registered with e-filing and submitted. The system tells you you will get a respose once verified. I waited five days and heard nothing, then tried to log on and could not get onto the system. I phoned SARS and they say they deleted my application because they didn't receive some documents. They never told me to bring in any documents so they made me re-register. I did this and faxed them the documents that they told me to send through. I received an email and logged in. The system told me I need to send through documents, but not which ones. I phones again and they tell me that they are going to escelate it as they believe the documents i sent through have not been processed. I received a call on Monday and they told me it is different documents that need to be loaded. I then went to the branch and gave them said documents and they loaded them onto the system. I asked them, in front of their manager if i would now be able to log into SARS and file my return. They said YES. I the went onto the SARS system and the system still says PENDING. I phone them again, and now they say it has a turn-around time of 21 working days. Pathetic!
