I have been a client of another financial institution for over 20 year. I decided to move my accounts to Standard Bank and did a online application. I was contacted by one of the call center personal Wayne on the 20th January 2013, Wayne confirmed my details and processed the application. He informed me that it was approved in principal. He requested some document that i sent to him the next morning. i accepted all the terms and conditions of the Standard Bank. Today is the 29th January and i have had no feedback from Wayne or anyone at Standard Bank, I have sent 20 emails to Wayne over the last week asking for a update and every time i get told the application is still being processed. I called the Prestige banking service twice in the last couple of days and they have no record of my application. Is this they way that a new client has to experience a long term relationship " 150 years of moving you forward" looks more like slamming on your brakes!
