No feedback on status of Claim - Motor Insurance

I was involved in an accident on the 18th January 2014. My car was towed to SMD for assessment on the same day. Submitted my claim on the very next morning. Received my claim number within a few minutes on 20th January. It is now the 29th of January and I have not received a single call back with feedback on my claim. I have been calling on a daily basis just for an update and till date, the consultant simply tells me "The assessment report has not come yet." My insurance premium of R1100 comes out every month promptly on a Specific date with NO delays. Yet when its time Standard Bank needs to assist me with my first claim, I wait 2 weeks for a mere assessment report which hasn't come yet. I wonder how long it will take to get my vehicle fixed. At this stage, I'm without a vehicle, and I don't where whether my vehicle will be repaired or written off.
I don't want any apologies, because that's not going to help the situation.
It will be helpful to other consumer's if a report is pulled on all outstanding claims and analyze the waiting periods which we consumers have to deal with. Because clearly your claims consultants couldn't care less.
