I have a contract phone that I took with FNB and 4 weeks ago it got damaged and I had to take it in to the insurer for repairs. It has been 4 weeks now and i have not received my phone as yet. I've been calling the insurer quite a number of time to get an update on how far was phone was with the repairs and i wouldn't receive any satisfactory response. On the 24th I received an sms advising that my phone is ready for delivery and they will only deliver when i've made the payment which they haven't even send me the payment details. On the 28th I called them asking them to send me the payment details and they still have not done that. i wonder what is it that i have to do to have them send me the details so that i can have my phone back. The worst part of it all, when i took insurance no one told me that i will be paying an access R500, i only knew about this when y phone was already taken in for repairs, they just sent me an email regarding the access fee and no one cared to call and talk me through this. what an appalling service i've received. My reference for this is: FNB23691. It's shocking that we still have companies such as this who just don't care about its customers
