I am awaiting feedback on the progress of my retirement claim from Old Mutual. I resigned from my previous employer 30/11/2013 and I was assured by the payroll department of my previous department that all my documents was forwarded to the Retirement Fund Administration Department of Old Mutual. It is now the 28/01/2014 I have had no response from them. I have been calling everyweek requesting some feedback but i keep hearing the same story about my claim sitting with the administrator and an email will be sent to him/her to provide a progress report but I have not received anything. I am very disappointed with the service as I do not believe that people should be subjected to such service when they are awaiting their own funds and not funds that they are borrowing but funds that belongs to an individual. There is a clear lack of respect towards clients from Old Mutual and it is very disappointing and frustrating as i have missed the Unisa deadline in order to pay for my studies for the current year as I have been awaiting for the payment of my funds.
