ABSA UNABLE TO SUPPLY TRANSACTION HISTORY

I have a business savings account with ABSA. Due to a death in the family last year I failed to download my transaction history for three months (July - Sept 2013). I am now unable to obtain the transaction history for this period on internet banking. So, I went into the Sandton Branch and asked them to do a printout for me, which they did, BUT the information on it is useless as there is no detailed information. The statement just says "DEBIT" or "CREDIT" and not who made transfers/payments to me or to whom I made payments. You can be that ABSA will bill me for this useless info too! Then I went to the Fourways Branch and was told the same story. I asked to see a Manager who confirmed that ABSA cannot give out transaction history older than three months. I find this totally unacceptable as I am only looking for informaion within the last 6 months and not from five years ago!
