I found a suspicious transaction on my credit card (apparently a debit order) that I had no knowledge of, it then came back as an unpaid debit order even thou there was R 40 000 available on my credit card. I then used ABSA's messaging system in the online banking system where I requested more info regarding the debit order, what is was and why it did not go through, I also requested that the ridiculous bank charge be reversed for unpaid debit order as here was clearly money available to let a debit order of R 65 go off the credit card. apparently the email system absa has in place means nothing as I received a message back stating that they are unable to provide me with any info and I must phone the call centre, What use is there to you messaging system where you can query a transaction and then they are unable to give any info.
Now I still have no info about the transaction and I am unhappy about ABSA's service
