Cannot cancel a contract!

On 31 January I called MiWay to cancel my insurance with them. Obviously I got put through to the retentions department, standard procedure, and spoke to KG. He asked if he could give me a new quote, which I agreed to. The quote reached me on Friday 1 Feb and over the weekend decided to still cancel the contract. On Monday the 4th I phoned KG and left a message for him to phone me back, which didn't happen. Today, the 5th of Feb, I phoned him and he still didn't phone me back so I decided to start the process over.
I phoned the call centre again, said I wanted my policy cancelled, got put through to retentions again, and got cut off. I phoned back, got put through again, Obviously I didn't want to leave a message since I don't get called back. I've since asked to be put through to the manager of retentions, a Mr. Clemens, and I've been holding a total of TWENTY FIVE minutes now!
I might have considered going back to Miway at some stage, since I wasn't upset with them, but after this fiasco I definately won't consider taking out a policy with them again!
