Waiting over a month for a refund

I sold my car on 10-July-2013 and phoned MiWay to cancel my insurance from 11-July-2013, and after three days of phoning the call centre I managed to get through to the retentions department. I sent through documentation of the sale of my vehicle on 16-July-2013 to one of the "Retention Analysts" who assured me that they would process my refund ASAP.

After being ignored over email by abovementioned retention analyst I phoned the call centre asking when my refund would be processed and was then informed that my insurance policy on a car I no longer owned had not actually been cancelled.

I get put through to another retentions agent (Sharon D) who tells me to forward the documents to them, which I did on 7-August-2013 and I have heard nothing back from that agent either.

The service I have received from MiWay since 10-July-2013 has been nothing short of disgusting. It seems processing a refund is the hardest thing to do in the world yet signing me up and getting my bank account details to put debit orders through every month only takes 20 minutes.
