Numerous calls and every time I pick up a problem

Last week Monday I applied for a credit card and it was approved, Tuesday I applied for a loan and while I was on the phone the credit card division called, I asked if she could call back in 5min, this never happened. Thursday I called to check on my loan application. The consultant advised me that my profiles need to be combined and that I will need to go to a branch to have that done. I took time off work to go to the closest branch and after waiting for more than an hour to get assisted she advised me that everything is fine with the loan application and nothing else needs to be done, the loan was paid out as I sat with her right after she was on the phone with the loans division trying to find out what they needed. I asked her about my credit card application also seeing as I was still waiting for the card division to call me back and it has been a working day since I asked her to call me back in 5mins. We voice logged the quote. I just called card division to find out when my card will be delivered and they told me the quote has not been voice logged yet. Why do I need to keep checking up? I have always been very happy with FNB, but now it feels like the service is slipping.
