Standard bank assigns account to 3rd parties

Hello Peter.

i was very shocked to discover that i am listed with the credit bureau over a debit order i had instructed the bank at the time to decline. My account was then handed over to lawyers who have made no effort to contact me or make arrangements for payment before listing me. I am very willing to make a payment plan but have been completely affected by the listing over a mere R6300. This is not fair and i believe the lawyers should put more effort to communicate with a client.

Surely the bank should be more sensetive to its clients. Listing someone should be a last resort and i am more than willing to make a payment arrangement although this was all the doing over a incompetent employee.

This is not right at all.
