I raised a claim on my car on about 3 December 2012. I was contacted by Elvis who said I will be contacted every 2 to 3 days on progress. I never heard from Elvis and I had to keep calling him. He could never be reached and messages were left but he never returned any. Contact was made and an Assessor was appointed but no feedback once again. In January 2013 I had to call and after complaining was handed over to Yolandi. I kept on mentioning to her I am not happy with the service and needed to speak to someone who was more responsible. She kept on promising that a Mrs Havenga would contact me. My Car could not used for almost 2 months and nothing was done about this. This was a minor repair. What recourse do I have. What would have happened If I defaulted on my premiums and did not respond to Standard Bank. Standard Bank Insurance staff do not follow up I have to do all the following up. My car has been repaired but with no follow up.
