Insurance claim still not resolved after a month!

On the 20th of December 2013 we advised Absa Direct we had suspected lightning damage. After a second call, an assessor was sent out. We were advised by the repair company they would be coming out and when they arrived on the 7th of January 2014, we were told they would only be doing the gate motor, another company has to do the electric fence.

We have made numerous phone calls since then - leaving 3 messages in one day - and being cut off while speaking to a consultant another time.

This is ridiculous - we are at risk while not having our electric fence - why is it so hard to have this seen to?

We have phoned again this morning - phone just rings. There is an option to leave message, but don't bother, they don't call back!
