Terrible service and false information!

I'm tired of doing the roundabouts with this bank! I opened a student account 7 years ago, every time I have to pick up a new card they complain that I should upgrade and every time I try to upgrade I'm constantly misinformed about what I need to bring, year in and year out I'm going out of my way to change it but I keep getting sent back for minor things by the consultants. Yesterday I had to pick up a new card once again, I asked the consultant if I can upgrade to cheque with the info I presented her after checking it she said yes but she only deals with collections but if I go to a consultant with my papers they should be able to assist me. Same day I went to another bank to open a new account with them with the same papers and it went smoothly. Today I go back to FNB to upgrade to cheque the consultant tells me my papers are incorrect the same papers from the day before the same papers another bank opened a NEW account with but the bank I have been banking with for the past 8 years won't allow???! I might as well just close my account and take my business elsewhere.
