Deduct money on cancelled Service Plan Policy

In September 2013 I received a phone call from a consultant of Standard Bank Service Plan. The woman that spoke to me, did not give me the chance to say Yes or No She said that she will send info through the post and will send me a number by sms, where I can contact them to confirm. I never received anything. I received a sms to confirm my policy number and on which date first payment will be due. I phoned the 086, no on the sms and asked them to cancelled it immediately, which they replied that they will phone me. No response. The 1st October 2013 Standard Bank deducted from my banking account. I phoned them again and they said that the policy was cancelled the 25th September 2013, I asked for a refund and they said they will phone me back.. No response. I phoned several times with no response I have got references for every phone call I made and also bank statements as proof. I was on Holiday in JHB and went to the Standard Bank Branch, at THE GLEN Shopping Mall, Enquiry desk told me they cant help me I must phone them. I am tired of phoning and get no response. I am a pensioner, why must I give my money away to a bank., that can't do their work properly. Thank you.
