Damage to my vehicle's wiring

Although a tracking unit was fitted to my vehicle, I was told that it was outdated and had to be replaced with a newer unit. The installer arrived as scheduled, but it was immediately evident that he was not familiar with my vehicle. The first unit was fitted inside the engine compartment, and he tore rubbers just to try to get to the old unit. Then he started ripping panels from the inside of the vehicle, saying that he has to fit the new unit inside the vehicle.
The worst part was when he used the probes of a multimeter to start digging holes in a bundle of probably 50 wires, trying to find a 12 v power source. It was obvious that he was unfamiliar with the vehicle's wiring. How can you dig holes in in 20 wires, trying to find one, and leaving them exposed. When I complained, he remarked that this is the way they do it, and this is also the reason why customers are not allowed to be present during fitment! So that they can make a mess without me knowing? It is my car, and I will not let an around with intricate wiring. Then they can take their unit and insurance and shove it.
