I have visited the Nedbank branch at The Bridge, Durban road, Bellville to assist a colleagues in opening a savings account with Nedbank. The lady started working as a cleaner with the company I work for, had a savings account with Nedbankl, which is not in use anymore. We stood int he inquiries queue for about 45 minutes as there is only one person helping. Another customer asked the tellers as to if there is anybody else that could assist and he was informed "no they are all on leave" with laughter in the back ground. He eventually referred me to the banking section to open a new account. Here we sat for another 30 minutes, after which I got up, walked around in the passages looking for someone to assist. I eventually got hold of a lady sitting at the reception area of the business banking. She scurreld around trying to find someone to help me, after which she then informed me that there is no-one to help me today as they are all on leave and I have to come back tomorrow or visit another branch. This message was sent by the branch manager, and that was the discussion.
For a banking industry I cannot see that this is the case
