Cancellation

I was trying to cancel my miway policy, and they want to bill me for the days which they wont even be covering me for. They telling me about company policy but its illegal for a person to be double insured, I told them that I will have cover somewhere else and they still insist on taking my money. When I took the policy I was told that I pay for the month ahead. I paid my premium in dec for the month of jan therefore It does not make sense for them to bill me for the days in feb whereas I wont even be needing their insurance.
