I have phoned in on 23 January 2013 and again on 24 January 2013 to cancel my policy. The senior consultant that I spoke to told me that there is a 30 days cancellation policy that applies. I did not know about this and have already started cover with my new insurer on 22 January 2013. Up to yesterday I have never received any documentation informing me of the cancellation policy. I have been through my policy schedule and can't seem to find the 30 days cancellation clause in there. A family member who phoned to cancel their cover with Outsurance was helped immediately to cancel their cover and refunded for the remaining days of the month. If my policy cannot be cancelled immediately you leave me no choice but to do a stop payment on the debit order with the bank. I've paid in advance and have never claimed, please just cancel my policy.
