I regret why I cancelled my previous insurance, I joined miway on 01 September 2013 and I have already started started shopping for new insurance withing 5 days after joining miway.

When I took my policy with miway the chosen debit was the 15th of every month though my policy will run from the 1st to last day of every month, now on the 2nd of September my account was debited with R 233, when I inquired I was told is a pro-rata and the full premium will be debited on the 15th. Then I told them that my previous insurer was debiting on the 15th for covering me from 1st to last day.

The reason I choose the 15th is that I get paid on the 15 and I want to avoid this 15th to 15th cover as most insurers start on the 1st of every month, the consultant I spoke to today never assisted me and told me that's how miway do there is no other way.

I tried to use my knowledge of accounting but it seems as I was speaking to someone who is blank.

My question is if my way is unable to resolve this small issue to a customer's favor how will they be able to make happy when I have to claim.
